Long time coming ...

Congrats to the Carolina Hurricanes (Hartford Whalers) on winning Lord Stanley's Cup. The hardest trophy in sport to capture. Always good to see the 30 something guys get there name on it before retirement. Cam Ward (22 year old rookie) was brilliant in the playoffs and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy (MVP) for his efforts. Game 7 of the finals.. There's nothing quite like it..

See you next season fellas ...

HI TERIWIG!!!!!!
Busy, busy weekend.. Check this. I have a cousin I haven't seen in 30 plus years blowing into town Saturday.. Then, next week, her sister is going to be in the neighborhood. Also, 30 plus year estrangement. Weirdness prevails.
On top of that, I got to see Doyle and Haley again last night.. I think I'm going to die soon.. Things are going to well.. Except work of course.. I'll shoot you an email when I get a minute. Hoping you have some pics of the bean growing up.. I'm adding a folder to my album in anticipation..

My weekend is busy too. Don's niece is in town visiting...she is 6 months younger than Christine---we're looking at cars for the young one...and then leaving Friday morning to look at colleges...we're looking at CalPoly San Luis, UCSB, and LMU LA this weekend. Can you believe it that she's almost 17!!!! Can't wait to hear from you!!!

Holy crapness! Cars and College?
Where did the time go? SLO sounds cool and anywhere on the coast up that way would be nice. Santa Barbara is awesome too. Beautiful area.

yeah...it has been a great experience so far...she is looking at schools primarily in CA, MO, and NY. I will start my graduate degree when in '07 when she graduates. Then we are planning to be sorta' close yet far away enough from one another--I will have 3.5 years and her 4+ now adays. There is definitely a lot for us to catch up on!!! I have had great interviews at Columbia, USC, Wash U, and Mt St Marys in LA...scary stuff!!!
