Heck, the place is almost finished...

Remember way back when I posted the pics of the Mikkelsen demolition? After numersous expenditures and quite a bit of elbow grease by way of Lon, the remodel is coming together quite nicely. The hardwood floors are killer and the kitchen is nuts cool. Huge island area that could probably sleep two comfortably. Super sweet cabinets with drawer sliders that prohibit slamming. You can shove 'em really hard and they stop at about 2" and then just slide shut ever so gently. Here's some before and after shots...
We'll start with a shot from Thanksgiving that gives you an idea of what the kitchen looked like prior to demolition.

Lon started tearing the place apart right around Xmas.. What a mess!

Quite the upgrade wouldn't you say??? All that's really left is to fasten a fixture or two here and there.. Doorknobs etc. Sweet...
