Tripp and family came down from Oregon as is the custom. Didn't get to squeeze in any golf this year but chowed down pretty good. There's always a myriad of cooks in the kitchen and appetizers galore. Erik deep fried a turkey in addition to the conventional oven prepared bird. It was great. Corn, Green Bean Casserole, Ham, Taters and Gravy from scratch. Hard to beat this spread. Had to sit on the couch for a couple of hours before I could actually move again. The hounds were in heaven and begging for table scraps at every turn. Too bad this only happens once a year!!
I'll be snagging some recipes if at all possible... Here's some snapshots...
